DANIEL IKEM, Chair

Daniel Ikem is a Global Partner Development Manager for Microsoft. He leads the Microsoft Black Partner Growth Initiative which seeks to address racial inequality in America by increasing the representation of Black and African American technology companies. Prior to Microsoft, Daniel served as a Global Product Manager at the United States Postal Services.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida where he served on the chapter board of the National Society of Black Engineers. He also holds a master’s degree in International Business Studies with a concentration in Finance from the University of Miami, and a master’s degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in Regulatory Affairs from the University of Maryland, Global Campus.

A continuous learner, Daniel seeks to leverage his knowledge of International Business, Government, and Technology and experience in product, project, and program management to create opportunities to underrepresented and underfunded communities. As a first generation American, Daniel is engaged in tackling the challenges experienced by the African diaspora and the African continent.
